Microdiscectomy is a minimally invasive spine surgery performed to remove the portion of a herniated (slipped) disc that is pressing on a spinal nerve. It is one of the most commonly performed procedures for treating sciatica, persistent leg pain, numbness, tingling, or muscle weakness caused by nerve compression in the lower back. Before Surgery
